Jim Trotter, West enterprise editor for the Associated Press shared his experience as an editor and journalist with Reynolds Institute fellows on Friday afternoon. His advice for student writers, "Report with all your senses."
Sharing samples of work from Rocky Mountain News, he brought many of the fellows to near tears. "Keep going, keep reporting, keep following where your questions take you, until you have exhausted it," he said.
