Editor's meeting

We completed the Institute Insite today. All of the stories that the fellows completed were posted online and the editors met to decide which articles were put on the front page. There was some discussion about which story from each group would be on the front page. I think it's important to take that lesson back to my students at school. We often decide which story is the most important during our storyboard at the beginning of the issue but sometimes the strongest story turns out to be something different. I think it would be great to take a few looks at what story should be the main focus of the newspaper.

  1. I am so honored to have been a part of putting together such an awesome site. This is the ultimate collaborative project. We could do this on a smaller scale with our students, too.
