The Weekend Adventure

The trip to Jerome and Sedona has been covered by the three lovely ladies with whom I traveled on Saturday but I wanted to just add a few things. It is amazing that you can put 33 total strangers (for most of us anyway) in a group and have friendships merge so quickly. I think Mindy said it best when she said, "you guys get me; I don't have to explain myself." That is exactly how I feel as well. Although we come from so many different backgrounds we have this very wonderful, amazing and yet very stressful job in common. We deal with the same things year after year with a few details changing.

We had a wonderful time traveling and got to know each other much better. The scenery in Arizona is just amazing and we have made live long friends! I am so grateful for this opportunity and am happy to be sharing it with all of you! Here are a few photos from our trip.

This is the high school in Sedona. What an amazing view they have!

If you are really bored, you can go on an expedition with the Alien Recovery Team!

Unfortunately the store was closed so we didn't get to check it out. Maybe next time!

The trip was great and the bonding was better! Thanks to my new amazing friends, I will remember this weekend forever!

  1. Angela,

I agree with you that while the trip was great, the fellowship of like minds was even greater. Our trip to the Grand Canyon was incredible, but I really enjoyed the four hour drive both there and back. (I can't believe I'm saying that.) Good photos!
