Great lines from today

I am a huge fan of great one-liners and I typically have a "Consider This..." quotation on my board that we use to begin class.  Today  I jotted down a few Elliottisms I will use next school year.
"When you are a journalist, you are a scholar of the world."
"...it's got to be in your head and not just your notes."
Aside from these pearls of wisdom, another idea I thought was great was Barb's idea of highlighting names of students who are interviewed in yellow and then blue, and once the name is green, that student can no longer be interviewed.

    I think it's fun to keep a quote board. My students like to write down one-liners during class or work nights. We just have to be careful what the connotation is when the quote is taken out of context.
