Back to Reality . . .

Such an amazing 12 days. I was so worried that I would be out of my league at the Institute, lacking the extensive experience of my fellow attendees. But from the first day here, I felt part of a wonderful group of teachers who are as excited as I am to better their teaching practices. I seriously believe I gained more knowledge, ideas and practical teaching methods from these last two weeks than I have in the last several years. I am so thankful to the Institute, presenters and all of the teachers here for making this experience one I will never forget. I look forward to stalking all of you on Facebook and calling on you whenever I need help with journalism or yearbook.

  1. I agree- even if the moments when I doubted myself the most, there was always someone there to help pick me up, reassure me that it was possible, and remind me that it is ok to laugh at myself.

  2. Stalk away, Amber. I, too, am excited to have a network of colleagues and friends to go to for advice and fun.
