Casual dress: What it means is up to you

As folks prepare for the institute, the most common questions are these:

  1. What should I wear?
  2. What should I wear?
  3. What should I wear?

Here are the answers:

  1. Casual attire.
  2. What constitutes casual is up to you.
  3. Keep in mind that air conditioning allows us to survive the summer heat, and sometimes that can make spaces surprisingly chilly. If you tend to get cold, you may want to bring a light sweater.

  1. Thanks for the info- it is really helpful. While I have traveled to Colorado, I have never been to Arizona, but I suspect the weather will be somewhat similar in the summer.

  2. Glad to help. Highs usually top 100 and can top 110. It cools off at night, but it's still hot.

  3. No worries. I am from central Texas. We can match your heat and beat you in humidity. And it DOESN'T cool off here at night. Still hot and muggy.

  4. Well, I am from California where the weather is perfect and I absolutely HATE air conditioning. I guess I will bring lots of sweaters. . .
