  1. I really enjoyed the story mapping idea. English teachers always suggest kids use that, but I hadn't thought to apply it to Newspaper...duh! My kids always have problems generating story ideas or they generate ideas that aren't quite good enough. Story mapping could help with both of those problems!

  2. I think the story mapping is a great idea as well, and it provides a framework for students to narrow their focus while also providing opportunities to have a choice about what angle to take with a story.
